How it works
Sections = ⌈length ÷ post spacing⌉. Posts = sections + 1 (straight run, no gates). Rails = sections × rails per section. Pickets = ⌈length (in) ÷ (picket width + gap)⌉.
Examples
- 100 ft at 8 ft spacing: 13 sections, 14 posts, 26 rails, 219 pickets (5.5 in, no gap).

What about corners and gates?
Add one post per corner and two per gate; subtract gate width from picket length.
